Stuart Francis, the next President of the USGA, made a great run at the title in the Super-Senior division of the San Francisco City Championship. Nugent gives an inside look at how the matches played out and highlights that Francis is not just a golf administrator, but also an accomplished competitive amateur. Francis said “I love competitive golf; it’s the most satisfying endeavor you can undertake.”
