On behalf of the Amateur Golf Alliance, I am writing to let you know that the AGA Women’s Championship scheduled for June 5-7 at the Coral Creek Club has been postponed. We have tried to wait as long as possible to see if the number of participants would be enough to conduct a proper championship but with deadlines approaching and to allow for you to manage your schedule we felt it was in the best interest to look to re-schedule. We will communicate with you as soon as possible the dates and site for this event in 2020.
The AGA is committed to conducting this event in the future and greatly appreciate your support ion trying to make this happen in 2019. After many discussions with many of you and others who wanted to play but had scheduling conflicts, we will work to find a date and site to host a event that hopefully will warrant substantial support. Our efforts will include collaborating with other events to coordinate a schedule that will afford first class playing opportunities for female golfers across the country.
The AGA wants to thank our sponsors who have supported this event and the many volunteers who were committed at attend to ensure the best player experience possible. Our host facility Coral Creek Club is as good as you will find anywhere and we look forward to bringing this event back to the club in the future.
A spot will be held in any future championship for each of you and a full refund will be provided. The AGA greatly appreciates your support of this event and look forward to a great event in the future. If you have any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to call.
We share your disappointment and hope to build a wonderful championship for the future.
