Jack Druga is the PGA Head Professional at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in New York. He grew up in Pittsburgh and started as a caddie at Oakmont Country Club after watching the 1973 US Open there. As an amateur, he qualified for the US Amateur in 1977-1979, then moved on to the professional ranks starting as an assistant at Oakmont in 1981. Jack left Oakmont to take the head professional position at The Creek Club in New York in 1987 and while serving in this capacity qualified for the 1990 US Open at Medinah Country Club. After his time at The Creek Club, Jack was the head professional at Loxahatchee Club in Florida and for eleven years at the Country Club of Fairfield in Connecticut. Jack started at Shinnecock Hills in 2007 and will help the club host the 2018 and 2026 US Opens. He is only the third head professional Shinnecock Hills has had since 1906.
