Alan Fadel


Alan is a Senior Vice President in Toledo, Ohio who founded the Concession Cup and is the driving force behind the Amateur Golf Alliance. As the President and Chairman of the Board for the AGA, Alan defines the vision for its initiatives to enhance the amateur game.

Alan is an accomplished player at the state and national level. After graduating from the University of South Florida, Alan turned professional, played one year on the PGA Tour, and then spent time teaching at golf clubs such as Oak Hill Country Club and Canterbury Golf Club. He regained his amateur status and, in his home state of Ohio, Alan won the State Mid-Amateur Championship in his 30s, 40s, and 50s. He also won the State Amateur at the age of 40. Nationally Alan represented Ohio four times in the USGA State Team Championship, played in three US Senior Opens in a row from 2006-2008, and was medalist at the 2014 USGA Senior Amateur. In 2014, Alan was inducted in to the Ohio Golf Hall of Fame and named the male Amateur Golfer of the Year.

In addition to playing, Alan has spent considerable time giving back to his community and the game of golf. Alan is Chief Executive of GOLF OHIO, President of the First Tee of Lake Erie, a past President of the Toledo Junior Golf Association, and has served on the boards of both the Ohio Golf Association and Society of Seniors. Alan has also served as President of the Toledo Bond Club, Chairman of the American Heart Association Annual Fundraising Gala, Chairman of the Toledo Area Boy Scouts Fundraising Golf Tournament, and Co-Founder/Chairman of the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund, Hope for Scholarship Pro-Am. He brings this wealth of experience in charitable organizations and within the game of golf to the Amateur Golf Alliance.
